Wrocław's Royal Dent joins the dental network of Medicover Stomatologia

At the beginning of July, Medicover Stomatologia took over another dental clinic. This time, it is Wrocław's Royal Dent clinic, which specializes in the cutting-edge procedures and technologies in the fields of dental implantology and orthodontics. Among them, we find the Incognito and Invisalign systems, globally recognized solutions for fixed orthodontic appliances, which provide comfort and increase the effectiveness of treatment.

The takeover of the Royal Dental clinic is another acquisition of Medicover Stomatologia. In recent years, the company acquired three strong dental brands: DentaCare (2016), Prestige Dent (2017), and two prestigious dental centres in 2018 – the Stoma-Dental dental office network and Yellow-Med, which is one of the most modern dental engineering laboratories in Poland. This was a big reinforcement in the field of modern computer-aided dental prosthetics.

We are growing on the dental market both organically and through acquisitions. Ultimately, we want to build a countrywide network of dental clinics in Poland, offering top-quality medical services focused on patient safety and comfort. Thanks to our own investments and acquisitions, we have been building a cohesive dental ecosystem for several years – from dental offices, through a prosthetic laboratory and innovative solutions, to training. When we acquire, we always buy 100% of shares in the acquired company, but at the same time we want the founders or owners of these centres to stay with us.

comments Wioletta Januszczyk, Managing Director of Medicover Dental

The recent acquisition of Medicover Stomatologia, Royal Dent, is a clinic specialized in comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages. The company operates according to the motto "Let your smile look impressive". The clinic from Wrocław uses, among other things, treatment planning software with navigation to diagnose patients. The facility is also equipped with a computer tomography scanner for 3D diagnostic imaging.

As of today, Medicover Polska has over 100 dental offices, mostly in major cities, such as Warsaw, Kraków, Poznań, Wrocław, Szczecin, and the Tri-City.

Do you have tender and bleeding gums or increased tooth mobility? Contact a specialist. These may be symptoms of periodontitis

Gum disease (periodontitis) is, along with caries, one of Poles' most common dental diseases, affecting nearly 50% of adult patients. Although the problem is serious, only one in ten of us is diagnosed or treated for this condition [1]. Undiagnosed and untreated periodontitis has very serious consequences. When untreated, it may even lead to tooth loss, so it is worthwhile to pay more attention to the prevention of periodontal disease. [1]
